What is the difference between 850nm and 940nm IR?

When we use both of this IR LED for camera, 850nm LED will offer brighter light than 940nm LED and the camera will most sensitive to 850nm wavelength. On the other hand, 940nm have a longer wavelength so that it's almost invisible. Which make it much more easy to hide when it use in hunting camera. But people can not see the different from appearance if these LED is not working. Because when we produce it same 2835 SMD LED frame, dome lens. They will look totally same to each other. The only way to distinguish them is to light them up. The brighter one will be 850nm and dimmer one will be 940nm LED.
