What is cool white in LED?
This 504WWD-7A60 is a white Through-hole LED that cover with white milky lens. Different with yellow LED(or amber LED), Orange LED ect. Each white LED have their own color temperature. Some color make people feel warm, which is yellow-ish. Then we name those LED as warm white LED. And some of them looks more bule-ish, we name those 5mm white through-hole LED as cool white LED.
In order to reach higher brightness, normally we will produce the white through-hole LED Lamps with 5mm round top and clear lens. It's like a magnifier that can increase the light. But sometime we also need some different lighting effect. With this white milky lens, it can emits much more soft and diffused light and it won't be offending to the eye. At the same time, the light will fill the whole lens with white diffused lens so that the whole LED is glowing.
