There have a cooling rib on the bottom of 2835 SMD LED, so that this 2835 SMD IR LED can handle more current and power than 3528 SMD IR LED or 3014 SMD IR LED ect. As you can see in the picture, we packaged 3 chips inside of the 2835 SMD LED case. With this way, we can got more diffused and bigger radiation area 880nm IR Emitter. With 3 chips 880nm LED inside, this 880nm LED can handle 300mA operation current. If your design don't have that much space for mounting SMD LED, but you do need 3 chips LED in the circuit for your product. These 880nm 3 chips LED won't let you disappointment on the performance.
