Will USB-C replace HDMI? 

USB-C and HDMI serve different purposes and have different capabilities, so it is unlikely that USB-C will completely replace HDMI in the near future.
HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) is primarily used for connecting audio and video devices, such as TVs, monitors, and projectors.   It supports high-resolution video and audio transmission, making it ideal for media consumption and gaming.
USB-C, on the other hand, is a versatile and multipurpose connector that can handle various functions, including data transfer, charging, and video output.   It is commonly found on modern laptops, smartphones, and tablets.   USB-C can support video output through the DisplayPort or Thunderbolt protocols, but it may require adapters or specific cables to connect to HDMI devices.
