Smart Film Installation Tips:

1. Check each piece after your receive and open the carton.

2. Test each piece before you install.

3. Use clean water or alcohol to clean the glass before installation. Never use anything acidity nor alkalinity.

4. The glass must be clean, dry and flat before sticking the smart film.

5. All bubbles should be scraped out.

6. Pls kindly not tear off the tape on the busbar. It can protect the busbar.

7. After installation, the smart film edge should be sealed with neutral glass silicone, never acidity nor alkalinity.

PDLC Smart Glass Technology

Smart Glass is a state of the art laminated glass with a liquid crystal PDLC interlayer sandwiched between two sheets of glass.

How it Works
In clear mode an electrical current is passed through the PDLC (Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal) interlayer which aligns the microscopic crystals along a number of parallel axes, thus allowing vision through the glass.

Available as a Self-Adhesive Film for Existing Glass
Self adhesive Smart Window Film applies to any existing or new smooth glass surface. A simple ON – OFF mode switches the PDLC film from being clear (transparent) to frosted (opaque).
