HOW TO USE EGG SHRINKING WRAPS?

1.Cut the film into separate wraps.

2.Gently slip the hard-boiled egg into the shrinking wrap.

This is an egg-celent product! I will never dye Easter eggs again! They came out beautifully, seriously they are so PRETTY! When I posted them my friends thought I had really painted them. They were easy to use, just slip the plastic around the egg (we used medium and large size) and put them in hot water for a couple of seconds. That Is It!!! No mess, no dyes, and the kids LOVED them. The way these work is you slide a sleeve over an egg and then immerse the egg in boiling water. The boiling water causes the sleeve to shrink, and so it tightens up around the egg. If the wooden egg can withstand 30 seconds or so in boiling water without swelling and being ruined then they will work. There is no glue on these that needs to adhere. An alternative is to use a hairdryer to blow hot air, and that should also cause the sleeve to shrink. I didn't try this, but it might be a better method to avoid causing the wooden egg to get ruined.
