The LCD module panel only began to realize profitability in the second half of 2012. Before that, the LCD module panel industry as a whole "losed more and gained less." In 2012, China's global panel market share increased from 6% to 9.9%, tying Japan for the first time, becoming the world's third largest flat panel display manufacturer after South Korea and Taiwan Active Matrix OLED. However, the overall scale of China's panel industry is relatively small, and investment entities are relatively scattered.
