What is standard FR4 pcb?

Fr-4 is a code name for a fire resistant material grade, which means that the resin material must be able to extinguish itself after burning. It is not a material name, but a material grade.

Performance

The mechanical properties, dimensional stability, impact resistance and moisture resistance of epoxy glass fiber fabric substrate are higher than that of paper substrate. Its electrical performance is excellent, the working temperature is high, its own performance is less affected by the environment. In processing technology, compared with other resin glass fiber cloth substrate has a great advantage. This kind of product is mainly used for double-sided PCB, the dosage is very large.

Application
