Created by applying a colored, heat sensitive coating to outside of Durham ceramic mug

Eco-friendly hard paper packing
Heat sensitive coating becomes transparent revealing printed image beneath, strong, and bright, when hot liquid added
Heat pressing processes:
Print your favourate photo/picture on to inkjet transfer paper by common Epson inkjet printer.
Stick the paper to the mug with heat resistant tape
Heat press the mug under 180 degree for 120 seconds
Remove paper before the mug gets cold
This process uses organic colour dyes and is more environmentally friendly as it avoids the use of substances such as lead and cadmium. However, some loss of vividness can arise if the print is exposed to too much bright light and heat, the protective film can also loose its lustre if washed too frequently in harsh dishwasher cycles. With the right artwork these produce spectacular results.
