Gantry laser welding machine

The laser technology of gantry laser welding machine adopts polarizing mirror to reflect the laser beam and make it concentrate in the focusing device to produce a huge energy beam. If the focus is close to the workpiece, the workpiece will melt and evaporate in a few milliseconds. This effect can be used in welding process. The emergence of high-power CO2 and high-power YAG laser opens up a new field of laser welding.
The key of laser welding equipment is high power laser
One is solid state laser, also known as Nd: YAG laser. Nd (neodymium) is a rare earth element, YAG represents yttrium aluminum garnet, and its crystal structure is similar to ruby. The wavelength of Nd: YAG laser is 1.06 nm μ m. The main advantage is that the generated beam can be transmitted through the optical fiber, so it can be saved to the complex beam transmission system. It is suitable for flexible manufacturing system or remote processing, and is usually used for the workpiece with high welding accuracy requirements. Nd: YAG laser with output power of 3-4 kW is commonly used in automobile industry.
The second type is gas laser, also known as CO2 laser. Molecular gas is used as the working medium, and the uniform output is 10.6 μ The standard laser power is between 2-5kw.
