How does a router work?

Devices in the network communicate with each other mainly by their IP addresses, and routers can only forward data according to specific IP addresses. The IP address is composed of two parts: the network address and the host address. In the Internet, the network address and host address are determined by the subnet mask. The subnet mask and the IP address are both 32 bits, and the two are one-to-one correspondence. "1" in the subnet mask corresponds to the network address in the IP address, and "0" corresponds to the host address and network The address and host address constitute a complete IP address. In the same network, the network address of the IP address must be the same.
