What dual band means ?
The difference between single-band and dual-band wirelss routers are mainly focused on signal rang, transmision power, stability , and anti-interference.
The single frequency has strong anti-attenuation ability in the indoor environment . The disadvantage is that many devices work in the 2.4GHz frequency band, so thre is a lot of interference and the stability is slightly insufficient.
Compared with single frequency , dual frequency works in 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequency bands, which has stronger anti-interference ability , and signal is naturally more stable . The wireless frequecy band working in both modes is definitely more stable than a single channel , reliable. However, dual-frequency routing is slightly more expensive. In terms of signal stability , dusl-frequency routing is much better than single-frequency routing .
