A permanent magnet generator refers to a motor system in which starting engine and charging DC power are realized by one motor. In traditional motors, these two functions are realized by automobile starters and generators respectively. Due to its advantages over two separate motors to achieve these two functions, starter generators have attracted great attention in modern and medium hybrid electric vehicle applications. Since the birth of switched reluctance motor, the research and application of new double salient motor based on switched reluctance motor are more and more extensive. The windings or permanent magnets of these new double-salient motors are only arranged on the stator, and there is no coil or permanent magnet on the rotor, which is directly made of a stamping sheet.
