What is the difference of lead acid batteries and lithium batteries?

One of the difference is energy density. The lithium batteris have a higher energy density, while the lead acid batteris do not have. 

Low energy density VS High energy density

Lithium-ion batteries have a higher energy density than lead-acid batteries. It means that with the same volume, more energy is available for lithium-ion batteries. Lithium-ion batteries have high energy density with small size and lightweight. In other words, because of the high energy density of the lithium-ion battery, the lithium-ion battery weighs three times less than the lead-acid battery, and also with a half volume.
