There are four shape of battery cell, including button cells, cylindrical cells, prismatic cells and pouch cells. Lithium battery cells has three common shape-- cylindrical, pouch and prismatic. Lithium battery cell is generally composed of a positive electrode, negative electrode, electrolyte, and separator. Prismatic cells are designed in thin and rectangular size that encased with steel or aluminum casing.
