The diesel pressure sensor is installed at one end of the oil rail and mainly measures the fuel pressure in the common rail. It converts the fuel pressure into a voltage output by measuring the instantaneous fuel pressure in the guide rail through a silicon film (sensing unit) mounted on the sensor element. The core of the sensor is a steel film, and the test medium is impermeable. The Wyeth bridge circuit on the steel film surface contains the strain element (4 variable resistors integrated into the upper surface of the steel film in Wheatstone bridge fashion). When pressure is generated, the resistance of the bridge circuit changes due to the strain generated by the strain element. The strain generated by the pressure of the established system causes the resistance of the bridge circuit to change, causing the voltage at both ends of the 5V bridge made up of resistance elements to change.
