The chemical spray method generally adopts the form of a spray tower to treat the malodorous gas, and the spray tower is a two-phase counter flow packing absorption tower. The gas enters the purification tower tangentially from the air inlet below the tower body, and under the power of the fan, it quickly fills the space of the air inlet section, and then rises to the packing absorption section evenly through the flow equalization section. On the surface of the packing, the contaminants in the gas phase chemically react with the substances in the liquid phase. The soluble salts generated by the reaction flow into the lower liquid storage tank along with the absorption liquid. The gas that is not fully absorbed continues to rise into the spray section. In the spraying section, the absorbing liquid is sprayed out from uniformly distributed nozzles at a high speed, forming countless fine mist droplets that are fully mixed with the gas, contact, and continue to undergo chemical reactions. The process of two-phase contact in the spray section and the packing section is also the process of material heat and mass transfer. The adequacy and stability of this process is ensured by controlling the empty tower flow rate and storage time. For some gases with poor chemical activity, a certain amount of surfactant needs to be added to the absorption liquid. The uppermost part of the tower body is the defogging section, where the absorption liquid mist entrained in the gas is removed, and the treated clean air is discharged into the atmosphere from the exhaust pipe at the upper end of the purification tower.
