Product Description
Product Description

Rulon® 123 is a black smooth composite material with average abrasion resistance used for mating with softer surfaces such as stainless steel and aluminum. This material has excellent chemical resistance and is FDA, USDA, and NSF approved. Compared to Rulon® J, it is slightly less expensive and has slightly lower flexibility and wear resistance.

The material has a very high resistance to deformation, a very low coefficient of friction, good heat dissipation, and the ability to eliminate static electricity up to a maximum operating temperature of 288oC.

Rulon® 123 is subject to black abrasion over long periods of time and is not suitable for electrically insulated applications. Avoid ultra-dry and vacuum applications.

Rulon® 123 is a smooth black non-abrasive material for softer mating surfaces such as stainless steel. The material has excellent chemical resistance and meets FDA, USDA and NSF requirements.

Rulon® 123 has a high resistance to deformation, a low coefficient of friction and good heat and static dissipation. The material has a maximum operating temperature of 550°F (300°C).

It is less expensive than Rulon J, but is slightly less flexible and more resistant to abrasion.

Rulon 123 releases black wear debris over time, so it should not be used in ultra-rigid vacuum applications or where electrical insulation is required.
