Prime View International Co., Ltd. (hereafter called PVI) PD104SM1 is a 10.4 inch diagonal a-Si TFT-LCD display screen product, with an incorporated CCFL lighting system, without backlight driver, without touch screen. This PVI TFT-LCD is a 10.4 inch with Consumer Lcd Display, it have LCD Controller, Backlight Cable and Tft Color Screen. Based on datasheet with version of Ver1.0 which was released out on 11 21 2008, PD104SM1 supports display 800(RGB)×600 (SVGA) with aspect ratio of 4:3 (W:H), whose pixels are arranged in RGB Vertical Stripe. As for mechanical detail, it features active area of 211.2(W)×158.4(H) mm, outline size of 236(W)×176.9(H) mm, viewing area size of 215.0(W)×162.0(H) mm, with surface treament of Antiglare, Hard coating (3H), net weight of 288±15g. As a TN, Normally White, Transmissive LCM product, PD104SM1 can provides 230 cd/m² display brightness 400:1 transimissive contrast ratio, 65/65/45/65 (Typ.)(CR≥10) (L/R/U/D) viewing angle, best view direction on 6 o'clock , and response time of 10/15 (Typ.)(Tr/Td) ms. Gray scale or the brightness of the sub-pixel is determined with a 6-bit gray scale signal for each dot, thus presenting a palette of 262K colors, also with performance of color gamut 50% (NTSC). This product adopted 1 pcs CCFL as it's backlight systerm which was placed as Edge light type (Top side), external backlight driver is additionally needed. PD104SM1 utilizes LVDS (1 ch, 6-bit) as it's signal inputting systerm, which connected by 20 pins Connector with power supply voltage of 3.3V (Typ.).
