PD050OX1 is a 5.0 inch diagonal a-Si TFT-LCD display screen product from PVI, with a built-in CCFL backlight, without backlight driver, without touch screen. This PVI TFT-LCD is a 5.0 inch with Consumer Lcd Display, it have LCD Controller , Backlight Cable and Tft Color Screen. On the basis of latest version datasheet Ver3.0 which was released out on 4 2 2008, PD050OX1 supports display 480(RGB)×480 with aspect ratio of 1:1 (W:H), whose pixels are arranged in RGB Vertical Stripe. As for mechanical detail, it features active area of 90(W)×90(H) mm, outline size of 115.5(W)×110(H)×7.5(D) mm, viewing area size of 93.2(W)×93.2(H) mm, with surface treament of Antiglare, net weight of 144±10g. As a TN, Normally White, Transmissive LCM product, PD050OX1 can provides 450 cd/m² display brightness 400:1 transimissive contrast ratio, 60/60/40/50 (Typ.)(CR≥10) (L/R/U/D) viewing angle, best view direction on 6 o'clock , and response time of 15/25 (Typ.)(Tr/Td) ms. Gray scale or the brightness of the sub-pixel is determined with a 6-bit gray scale signal for each dot, thus presenting a palette of 262K colors. This product adopted 1 pcs CCFL as it's backlight systerm which was placed as Edge light type and have a working life time of 40K hours, external backlight driver is additionally needed. PD050OX1 utilizes TTL (1 ch, 6-bit) as it's signal inputting systerm, which connected by 60 pins FPC with power supply voltage of 3.3/3.3/9.7/19.0V (Typ.)(VCC/VDD1/VDD2/VGG/VEE).
