Prime View International Co., Ltd. (hereafter called PVI) PD080SL3 is a 8.0 inch diagonal a-Si TFT-LCD display panel product, with an integral WLED backlight system, without backlight driver, without touch screen. It features an operating temperature range of -25 ~ 80°C , a storage temperature range of -25 ~ 80°C . This PVI TFT-LCD is a 8.0 inch with Consumer Lcd Display, it have LCD Controller, Backlight Cable and Tft Color Screen. PD080SL3 supports display 800(RGB)×600 (SVGA) with aspect ratio of 4:3 (W:H), whose pixels are arranged in RGB Vertical Stripe. As for mechanical detail, it features active area of 162(W)×121.5(H) mm, outline size of 200(W)×152(H)×10.8(D) mm, viewing area size of 165.0(W)×124.5(H) mm, with surface treament of Antiglare, net weight of 343±15g. As a TN, Normally White, Transmissive LCM product, PD080SL3 can provides 420 cd/m² display brightness 400:1 transimissive contrast ratio, 60/60/45/60 (Typ.)(CR≥10) (L/R/U/D) viewing angle, best view direction on 6 o'clock , and response time of 15/25 (Typ.)(Tr/Td) ms. Gray scale or the brightness of the sub-pixel is determined with a 6-bit / 6-bit + Hi-FRC gray scale signal for each dot, thus presenting a palette of 262K/16.7M colors. This product adopted 3S14P WLED as it's backlight systerm which was placed as Edge light type and have a working life time of 30K hours, external backlight driver is additionally needed. PD080SL3 utilizes LVDS (1 ch, 6/8-bit) as it's signal inputting systerm, which connected by 20 pins Connector with power supply voltage of 3.3V (Typ.). It's typical vertical frame rate (Fv) is 60Hz.
