Prime View International Co., Ltd. (hereafter called PVI) PD040QX2 is a 4.0 inch diagonal a-Si TFT-LCD display screen product, with an incorporated WLED lighting system, without backlight driver, without touch screen. This PVI TFT-LCD is a 4.0 inch with Consumer Lcd Display, it have LCD Controller, Backlight Cable and Tft Color Screen. Based on datasheet with version of Ver0.1 which was released out on 12 23 2008, PD040QX2 supports display 320(RGB)×240 (QVGA) with aspect ratio of 4:3 (W:H), whose pixels are arranged in RGB Vertical Stripe. As for mechanical detail, it features active area of 81.12(W)×60.84(H) mm, outline size of 93(W)×73.5(H) mm, viewing area size of 84.32(W)×64.04(H) mm, with surface treament of Antiglare, net weight of TBD. As a TN, Normally White, Transmissive LCM product, PD040QX2 can provides 1000 cd/m² display brightness 400:1 transimissive contrast ratio, 80/80/50/60 (Typ.)(CR≥10) (L/R/U/D) viewing angle , and response time of 15/25 (Typ.)(Tr/Td) ms. Gray scale or the brightness of the sub-pixel is determined with a 8-bit gray scale signal for each dot, thus presenting a palette of 16.7M colors. This product adopted 6S2P WLED as it's backlight systerm which was placed as Edge light type and have a working life time of 25K hours, external backlight driver is additionally needed. PD040QX2 utilizes TTL (1 ch, 8-bit) + SPI as it's signal inputting systerm, which connected by 60 pins FPC with power supply voltage of 3.3V (Typ.).
