AU Optronics Corp. (hereafter called AUO) G173HW01 V0 (Alias: G173HW01 V.0) is a 17.3 inch diagonal a-Si TFT-LCD display screen product, with an incorporated WLED lighting system, With LED Driver, without touch screen.   AUO TFT-LCD is a 17.3 inch with consumer Lcd Display, it have LCD Controller and Tft Color Screen. Based on datasheet with version of Ver1.3 which was released out on 6 26 2015, G173HW01 V0 supports display 1920(RGB)×1080 (FHD) with aspect ratio of 16:9 (W:H), whose pixels are arranged in RGB Vertical Stripe. As for mechanical detail, it features active area of 381.888(W)×214.812(H) mm, outline size of 403(W)×240(H)×13(D) mm, viewing area size of 385.09(W)×218.01(H) mm, with surface treament of Glare (Haze 0%), Hard coating (3H), net weight of 1.08Kgs (Typ.). As a TN, Normally White, Transmissive LCM product, G173HW01 V0 can provides 400 cd/m² display brightness 600:1 transimissive contrast ratio, 80/80/60/80 (Typ.)(CR≥10) (L/R/U/D) viewing angle , and response time of 37/3 (Typ.)(Tr/Td) ms. Gray scale or the brightness of the sub-pixel is determined with a 6-bit + Hi-FRC gray scale signal for each dot, thus presenting a palette of 16.7M colors, also with performance of color gamut 72% (NTSC). This product adopted WLED as it's backlight systerm which was placed as Edge light type (Top side) and have a working life time of 50K hours, With LED Driver. G173HW01 V0 utilizes LVDS (2 ch, 8-bit) as it's signal inputting systerm, which connected by 30 pins Connector with power supply voltage of 3.3V (Typ.). It's typical vertical frame rate (Fv) is 60Hz.
