AU Optronics Corp. (hereafter called AUO) A070VTN06.4 is a 7.0 inch diagonal a-Si TFT-LCD display screen product, with an incorporated WLED lighting system, without backlight driver, without touch screen. This AUO TFT-LCD is a 7.0 inch with Consumer Lcd Display, it have LCD Controller and Tft Color Screen. Based on datasheet with version of Final Ver1.0 which was released out on 5 21 2018, A070VTN06.4 supports display 800(RGB)×480 (WVGA) with aspect ratio of 16:9 (W:H), whose pixels are arranged in RGB Vertical Stripe. As for mechanical detail, it features active area of 154.08(W)×85.92(H) mm, outline size of 164.9(W)×100(H)×5.9(D) mm, viewing area size of 157.1(W)×90.92(H) mm, with surface treament of Antiglare, Hard coating (3H), net weight of 150±15g. As a TN, Normally White, Transmissive LCM product, A070VTN06.4 can provides 500 cd/m² display brightness 500:1 transimissive contrast ratio, 75/75/55/65 (Typ.)(CR≥10) (L/R/U/D) viewing angle, best view direction on 6 o'clock , and response time of 25 (Typ.)(Tr+Td) ms. Gray scale or the brightness of the sub-pixel is determined with a 6-bit / 6-bit + Dithering gray scale signal for each dot, thus presenting a palette of 262K/16.7M colors, also with performance of color gamut 50% (NTSC). This product adopted 3S3P WLED as it's backlight systerm which was placed as Edge light type and have a working life time of 50K hours, external backlight driver is additionally needed. A070VTN06.4 utilizes Parallel RGB (1 ch, 6/8-bit) as it's signal inputting systerm, which connected by 50 pins FPC with power supply voltage of 3.3/10.4/16/-7V (Typ.)(DVDD/AVDD/VGH/VGL). It's typical vertical frame rate (Fv) is 60Hz.
