AU Optronics Corp. (hereafter called AUO) G070VVN01.2 is a 7.0 inch diagonal a-Si TFT-LCD display screen product, with an incorporated WLED lighting system, without backlight driver, without touch screen. This AUO TFT-LCD is a 7.0 inch with Consumer Lcd Display, it have LCD Controller and Tft Color Screen. Based on datasheet with version of Ver1.4 which was released out on 11 7 2014, G070VVN01.2 supports display 800(RGB)×480 (WVGA) with aspect ratio of 15:9 (W:H), whose pixels are arranged in RGB Vertical Stripe. As for mechanical detail, it features active area of 152.4(W)×91.44(H) mm, outline size of 164.55(W)×104.71(H)×8.5(D) mm, viewing area size of 154.2(W)×93.2(H) mm, with surface treament of Antiglare, Hard coating (3H), net weight of 143g (Typ.). As a AMVA3, Normally Black, Transmissive LCM product, G070VVN01.2 can provides 600 cd/m² display brightness 1500:1 transimissive contrast ratio, 80/80/80/80 (Typ.)(CR≥10) (L/R/U/D) viewing angle, best view direction on Symmetry , and response time of 10/25 (Typ.)(Tr/Td) ms. Gray scale or the brightness of the sub-pixel is determined with a 6-bit / 6-bit + FRC gray scale signal for each dot, thus presenting a palette of 262K/16.2M colors, also with performance of color gamut 70% (NTSC). This product adopted 7S2P WLED as it's backlight systerm which was placed as Edge light type and have a working life time of 30K hours, external backlight driver is additionally needed. G070VVN01.2 utilizes Parallel RGB (1 ch, 6/8-bit) as it's signal inputting systerm, which connected by 50 pins Connector with power supply voltage of 3.3V (Typ.). It's typical vertical frame rate (Fv) is 60Hz.
