What precautions should be taken when using marine batteries?
1: Mixed use of batteries of different brands, different capacities, and different old and new is strictly prohibited;
2: The marine battery is used under the temperature condition of -20℃~60℃ (preferably 25℃), the high temperature will shorten the life and the low temperature capacity will decrease;
3: The battery will generate hydrogen gas in use, so keep away from the fire source and keep it ventilated to avoid explosion;
4: Keep the environment clean, too much dust will cause the battery to short circuit;
5: After the battery is discharged, it should be recharged in time. If the battery is not fully charged, it will reduce or even damage the battery capacity. Therefore, a suitable charger must be configured;
6: Proper discharge helps to activate the battery;
7: The lithium ion battery (UPS) that has been out of use for a long time should be stored after charging, and the battery needs to be charged and discharged once every six months. Generally, LIFEPO4 battery should be floated for about 4 to 10 hours, and LFP battery should work for 2 to 3 minutes in the inverter state.
