This kind of nylon is a veritable self-lubricating nylon, which is developed specifically for manufacturing parts that are not lubricated, high in load, and low in speed. It greatly expands the application range of nylon. It has a lower friction coefficient than the general nylon ( it can be reduced by 50% ) and the wear resistance is improved ( up to 10 times ).

PA66 has the same molecular formula as PA6, but the internal structure is slightly different.

️PA66 melt crystallizes quickly, and the surface quality of the finished product is poor and has creep. PA6 solidification is slow, and the surface quality of the finished product without additives is good, no creep

️PA66 has good heat resistance and rigidity. PA6 has poor heat resistance and good toughness

PA66 is expensive, but it feels softer than PA6, and can be made into superfine fiber high-end clothing fabrics, but it is difficult to color and require high temperature

️PA66 has higher melting point and good elastic modulus

️The mechanical properties of PA66 and PA6 are mainly determined by the glass fiber content. The treated PA66 has lower water absorption, so its strength and rigidity are higher, but if the glass fiber content in the PA6 material is increased to 5%, the same effect as PA66 can be achieved, and the surface quality is simple. The density has also increased by about 3.5%
