2. Main functions and protection:

Does this work with a cigarette lighter multi-way adapter or should it be direct into the car socket?
Answer:
You can connect an AC power adapter to it as long as you insure that the total load is within the device max Voltage and current limit. Do not connect devices that generates initial startup spike, as it will damage the adapter and your car electronics.

Received this order today, plugged into the cigar lighter of vw passat car but there is no ac output. does anyone have a similar issue?
Answer:
Some vehicle models have a different 12V DC socket, separate from the lighter socket which is wired to ingnite the lighter only.

I don t Know about a drill battery but I m using my laptop, charging a powerful light and one of my colleague is running a Small electric Heater with it.
