Product Description

Heavy Copper PCB Board does not have a set of definition per IPC. According to PCB industry, however, people generally use this name to identify a printed circuit board with copper conductors 3 oz/ft2 - 10 oz/ft2 in inner and/or outer layers. And Extreme heavy copper PCB refers to 20 oz/ft2 to 200 oz/ft2 printed circuit board.

Heavy copper normally used for various products but not limited to: high power distribution, heat dissipation, planar transformers, power convertors, and so on.

2 OZ Heavy Copper PCB

2 OZ Copper PCB is better than 1 Oz , Now more and more PCB design is prefer to use 2oz for their design, 2 Oz cost higher than 1oz, but performance is better than 1oz pcb, current, Thermal control is much better. Like Power Charger, adapter.

2 oz copper (70µm thick or 2.8 mils) - Standard internal layer copper thickness for internal layers on 3 oz finished copper selection. This is the standard starting copper thickness on the external layers for PCBs with the 3 oz finished copper weight selection.

Also in the market , flexible PCB start to use 2oz PCB, the most common flex PCB copper weights are 0.5oz and 1oz, however, lighter copper weights are available. 2oz and greater copper weights are also available when manufacturing flexible PCBs but may not allow the required flexibility needed for the particular application that they will be used in.

Shipping Process

After production and testing, your PCB orders will be sent to our shipping department. As the quick turn PCB manufacturer, JHY PCB shipping department will ship your PCB quickly without any pending.

JHY PCB 's Packing Way

1. Use one professional PCB vacuum bag, with desiccant inside. Vacuum compressed totally.

2. Paste label and RoHs mark. Use second vacuum bag to protect boards again, vacuum compressed, make sure no exception.

3. Microsection report and Tin testing board are put together with PCB in cartons.COC (Certificate of Conformity) will be sent to customer by email in PDF.

4. Several layers of thick EPE(Expand aple poly ephylene) are filled fully in gaps between PCBs and cartons. Thickness of 1 layer EPE is 10mm.

5. Neutral Packing is adopted if no special requirements. Strong and thick cartons(Thickness:10mm,7 layers). Different sizes of cartons are designed to meet demand of different PCB size. All package are within weight limit of cartons. For mass production order, no exceed 21kg per carton normally.

6. All cartons sealed with strong adhesive tape should be sealed twice so as to make them more durable.

7. Solid PP/PET strapping is used outside of cartons.

8. Shipping mark, fragile mark and postcode label are all pasted clearly.
