The Small Capacity Digital Pulse Charger CD-121605K is a Cell Digital Pulse Charger made by a proprietary control chip with independent intellectual property rights. It has 4 independent outputs, and can charge 4 12V/4.5Ah to 12V/30Ah or 16V/4.5Ah to 16V/30Ah cells at the same time. Under normal charge state, compared with the traditional constant voltage & limit current charger, the battery water loss rate is decreased more than 90%, which inhibits battery sulphation, so it can extend battery life more than twice. The charger also has the function of temperature compensation when battery charging.

The traditional charging methods: Constant current -- Constant voltage-- Float charging of three-stage charger, with a rate of current charging, the battery is easy to form polarization phenomenon(battery polarization internal resistance and polarization voltage is increased), which decrease the battery's charging acceptance ability. The formation of a large number of oxygen and hydrogen in the internal pressure stage of battery lead to water loss quickly. This type of charger mainly depends on the charging current and battery voltage detection to judge if the battery charge fully or not, if the battery water loss or once the temperature is too high, the charging current cannot be reduced to a floating threshold setting to the charger, the charging current at this time cannot let lead sulfate convert to lead but convert into heat. With the increase of the cell temperature, the battery case will be deformed because of over-heat.

The Cell Digital Desulphating Charger CD-121610K is specially designed for the above three shortcomings of the charger. It has highly automatic control capability. The charging voltage and charging current are automatically adjusted according to the ambient temperature and battery state. It can ensure fully charged and avoid the battery water loss. The step reduced charging current can effectively eliminate the problem of electric heating out of control, and in any case, it will not cause the battery to be deformed.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

  1. Adopt multi-stage constant current pulse charging mode. When starting charging, it charges the power battery quickly through a large duty cycle, and when the charging battery voltage is close to producing gas stage, smartly reduce the pulse charging current step-wise gradually.
  2. Each charging pulse is followed by a depolarizing pulse of 1~3 times the charging current, to ensure elimination of polarization voltage and cooling battery plates, so as to improve capability of charge acceptance
  3. Adopt temperature compensation function. Calculate the gas-produced voltage point of VRLA battery based on the ambient temperature tested by temperature sensor; at the same time, analyze gas-produced voltage and make dual judgment through the raise of dv/dt not affected by temperature, which effectively solves the battery sulphation caused by low temperature undercharged as well as water loss and thermal runaway caused by high temperature overcharged.
  4. In each charging pulse, special battery repair pulse is added to restrain sulphation of lead-acid battery; harmonic components of this pulse resonate with the lead sulfate large crystalline molecule on the battery plate and destroy the condition for forming lead sulfate large crystalline, it also has the function of breaking the lead sulfate large crystalline.
  5. Automatically detect connection of the charged battery. The charging switch is not started when the battery is not connected, in order to avoid electrical erosion of the battery plug and damage due to accidental short-circuit output.
  6. Produce special battery desulfation pulse, automatically repair the batteries exceeding the storage term in the processes of circulation, recover chargeability of the batteries with sulfation failure.

  7. Embedded smart battery management chip. Users can know the battery status according to the capacity.
