Armoured Indoor double jacket LSZH Fiber Optic Cable

General Description 
This document specifies armoured tight buffered fiber optic cable with a maximum of up to 24 900um 
fibers. The 900um fiber can be directly terminated onto fiber connector without the requirement of any 
additional termination tubing. The cable jacket incorporates aramid yarn strength members, LSZH inner 
jacket, a layer of corrugated steel tape armour and LSZH outer jackets. The corrugated steel tape
armouring provides additional mechanical protection & 100% rodent proof thus making it suitable for 
direct burial & harsh environment installations. In addition, the flame retardant Low Smoke Zero 
Halogen outer sheath provides not only the flame retardant capability but also emit low smoke and non 

toxic gas when it is burnt.

Optical Fiber
900um Singlemode 9/125um(Standard G.652D) or Multimode(50/125um or 62.5/125um) fibers. Refer 
to Fiber Properties & Specification Data Sheet for more detail.

Aramid Yarn
The individual fibers are stranded and protected by Aramid Yarn as strength member which is used not 
only to protect the fibers but also improved the tensile strength of the cable

Inner Jacket
LSZH jacket is extruded over the core. Nominal thickness is about 0.7 – 1.3mm.

Corrugated Steel Tape Armour
Corrugated steel tape is longitudinally applied over the bedding.

Outer Jacket
LSZH outer jacket is extruded over the armour. Nominal thickness is about 1.4 – 1.5mm.
Standard colour is black.
