--Other parts:   

• Free –fall protection against accidental falling of the door, are activated airing each opening and closing operation and they also lock the door in the closed position.
• The motor is fitted with a hand operated brake release and an additional outgoing shaft for emergency operation via a crank.
• When the door is closed its total weight is distributed between the fixing points. The distance between fixing points is about 1000mm. the door leaf itself does not weight more than 40 to 80 kg    per meter width, but, in view of the extra load which may result in the event of a collision.
• Wind load is transferred to the vertical guide rails by the horizontal aluminium sections of the door leaf. The fully-welded vinyl coated polyester fabric prevents the intermediate sections from flopping or twisting.  
• Lubrication-free guide rollers, which travel in the guide rails, are provided at each end of the door leaf sections.     The hoist belt is wound onto a belt drum to raise the bottom section. The belt drum is mounted the total load on the building should be calculated at 1.5 KN/m.

The load of the door leaf if successively transferred to the ends of the machine box as the door is opened. In this situation the weight of the machine box only is supported by the remaining fixing points.

--Operating Safety

Besides the safety devices provided as standard features, fold-up partitions can be equipped with separate impact sensors on the door`s lower edge, as well as motion detectors that stop a descending door. The impact sensor is a standard feature when an impulse, radio, induction loop or motion detector sensor has been selected for the door. A photoelectric cell available as an optional accessory stops the door when someone enters its area.
