When the chips number more than 3, 5050 SMD LED will be a good choice because this SMD LED case will got bigger space in the middle and a better heat dissipation performance, which make sure we can put the LED chip inside the LED frame with the correct position and make sure this LED have a good heat dissipation performance when the LED chip got a high power or when it have to handle a high opeartion current. That can make sure the LED can handle the case and longer lifespan. In this 5054WC357, we produce it with thinner type of 5050 LED case, which just got 1.1mm thickness. That will be better for the heat dissipation ability. And we also put a white LED chip inside, which is those white LED chip that no need a phosphor converted lens, it's just emits the white color when we pass through the current to it.
