   850nm LED bare die can be package with different size, such as SMD LED with different size: 2.8*3.5*0.8mm, 3.5*2.8*1.9, 5.7*3.0*0.8mm ect, 5mm through-hole LED, 3mm through-hole LED, rectangle through-hole LED, or some tombstone size through-hole LED. Different size and shape of LED case will effect the lighting result and radiation area. As you can see in the picture as follow, we packaged this 850nm LED with 2*3*4 mm tombstone shape through-hole LED. Which can have a wider viewing angle than 5mm through-hole LED or 3mm through-hole LED. On the other hand, with this shape of LED, this 850nm LED will got a rectangle radiation area for the radiation result. Do you need some these LED for your application?
