830nm LED infrared wavelengths have been one of the most concerned wavelengths. Because 830nm is close to 850nm, but the price will be higher than it. Most of people might though the material of the 850nm LED's and 830nm LED's chip are the same. But it is totally different.

For our Curiosity, we bought some beauty machine from different manufacturer and tested the SMD LED from those machine. Most of them's wavelength is 840-850nm, which is not really the 830nm LED. 

The really 830nm LED cannot be replaced by 840-850nm LED.
