0.2W SMD LED 5050 3-chips 660nm LED is a deep red light emitting diode, which is widely used in beauty industry, plant growth, light supplement, or some other special applications. Because of the cost of 660nm LED, these red LED are not very popular in LED lighting project or LED Lamp. However, 660nm LED still getting popular because it's effect. Compare with the through-hole LED with 660nm, 660nm SMD LED will got a better performance on the heat dissipation. On the other hand, SMD LED also got a smaller size than through-hole LED, which is easier to fit with PCB board and automatic welding machine. As we know, there have three position in 5050 SMD LED. So that 5050 SMD LED case can packaged in 3 chips inside. For some project, just one single chip might cannot reach that requirement.
