Compare with the 5mm round top white through-hole LED, these 5mm straw hat (helmet) LED have a wider viewing angle, which is 120 degree. With this wide angle, 5mm helmet white LED will emits diffused and scattered light. In addition, in this case, 5mm straw hat white LED will have a bigger lighting area than 5mm round top white LED. Normally, we produce some color temperature such as: 2700-3000-3500K warm white LED, 4000-4500K nature white(moonlight white), 5000-6000-7000K pure white LED(daylight white) and 7000-8000-11000-20000 cool white LED ect.
