For RGB LED,there have many different power is available, such as 0.2w RGB LED, 3W RGB LED, 5W RGB LED. The core of LED is a P N junction core composed of P-type and N-type semiconductors. The core of LED is a p n junction core composed of p-type and n-type semiconductors. When a few carriers injected into the P n junction recombine with most carriers, visible, ultraviolet or near-infrared light will be emitted. However, the photons emitted from the PN junction are non-directional, i.e. they emit the same probability in all directions. Therefore, not all the light produced by the core can be released, which mainly depends on the quality of semiconductor materials, the structure and geometry of the core, the inner structure of the package and the encapsulation material. The application requirements for improving the inside and outside of the LED are also discussed.Quantum efficiency. Conventional 5mm LED packaging is to bond or sinter a square core with a side length of 0.25mm on the lead frame. The positive pole of the core is connected with gold wire through spherical contact point, bonded to an inner lead and connected with a pin, and the negative pole is connected with another pin of the lead frame through a reflector cup. Then the top of the core is encapsulated with epoxy resin. The function of the reflecting cup is to collect the light emitted from the sides of the core and the interface and transmit it to the desired direction angle.

 Z509FRGBWD-10 is a type of 4 pins RGB LED with 5mm diffused lens package. This lens diameter is 5mm and high is 8.7mm. If you just pass current to two of pins at a time, you can get three kinds of color in total(red, blue and green). But if you light all the color up at the same time, you can got a pure white color light, which is much more beautiful than you can get on the normal white LED.
