850nm and 940nm infrared LED are the most popular IR LED in our life. When the 850nm LED is working, we can see some red spot in the middle of the LED, people might think that infrared LED are invisible in our naked eyes. But the truth is: When the intensity of infrared light is high enough, it can also produce a certain feeling when it shines on the retina, so that the human eye can see the red light. These 3528 SMD LED is PLCC-2 package and top view IR LED, wide viewing angle. Pb free, RoHS compliant. There also have other similar wavelength available in our factory such as: 840nm LED, 830nm LED, 820nm LED, 810nm LED ect. With the shorter wavelength, we will got more strong red spot. Which means, at the same size, current, we light up these wavelength LED, 810nm LED will got the brightest lighting and 830nm LED follow up.
