Scintillating light-emitting diode (SLD) is a special kind of light-emitting device composed of IC and light-emitting diode. It can be used in electronic gift products such as alarm indication, toy flashlight and so on. When scintillating light emitting diodes are in use, they can scintillate without external components, as long as the appropriate DC operating voltage (4.5V) is added to the pins of the scintillating light emitting diodes. Light emitting diodes are referred to as LED. Diodes made of gallium (Ga) and arsenic (AS) and phosphorus (P) compounds emit visible light when electrons are combined with holes, so they can be used to make light-emitting diodes, as indicators in circuits and instruments, or to form text or digital displays.
