Warm white or cool white?  

It's all up to your project. Normally warm white LED is the white SMD LED or White LED Lamps that with color temperature(CCT) in range of 2600k to 3500K. And cool white LED will have the CCT range over to 6000K, the more higher CCT number you get, the more blue color you will see from the cool white LED color when it's working. For warm white LED, it's widely use in the badroom decoration project because the light looks yelloe-ish and relax and on the other hand, cool white LED will be more offen use in meeting room because the light will looks more bright and clean.
