Is 4000K or 5000K better? 

It's about the color temperature(CCT) when we talk about 4000K or 50000K in the white LED. The one meets your project target most are the better one. Because all the white SMD LED with 2016 SMD LED in our factory will have the same quality and material. The different will be the color, brightness and CRI. in this 2016WC50K28L4W, SMD LED have a high cri LED level, which is RA90. That will make sure the object are vividly illuminated. Compare with 4000K, 5000K LED will have a little higher brightness and the light of this white LED will be blue-ish(not easy to see that). 4000K will have a little yellow-ish color when it's working.
