There will have kinds of package size for 1400nm LED. Such as SMD LED type or through-hole LED type. In this 503IRC140L14I100A20, we produce it with 5mm clear plastic case. Due to this case, we will be able to make it with different viewing angle. From the picture we can see there have a black little in the middle of IR LED. During the production, we can put the LED frame deep inside of top to make the wide viewing angle. Or make it away from the top, which can make the LED got a narrow viewing angle. The viewing angle is raleted to the radiation. Normally the more narrow angle, the strong radiation.
