12v dc motor with gear reduction, it means a driving motor reduce it speed through the gearbox. Like we need a 12v dc geared motor 60 rpm,

and the driving motor speed is about 6000rpm, then we need a gear ratio 1/100.  12v dc motor with gear reduction is also called 12v dc gear motor.

25mm Dc Spur Gear Motor is a kind of dc spur gear motor, it could be 6v, 12v or 24v. However, 12v is most widely used.

For this kind of mini dc gear motor, it is used on bicycle locks, medical devices, hose pum and so on.
