Y-TZP/plate-like alumina multiphase ceramics with 50% alumina crystal integral number were prepared by template crystal growth under normal pressure. The oils were used as lubricants to study the composite ceramics and 3Y-TZP ceramics under different loads. Under the friction and wear performance, the scanning surface electron microscopy and X-ray diffractometer were used to observe the appearance and phase composition of the wear surface aluminum of the sample. The results show that the friction coefficient and wear rate of 3Y-TZP ceramics occur at 400 N load. Mutation. Compared with 3Y-TZP ceramics, the wear rate of the composite ceramics is lower under the same load. This is because the alumina plate crystals in the multiphase ceramic form a network skeleton in three dimensions. The inherent high modulus of elasticity and high thermal conductivity of alumina-like plate crystals inhibit the martensitic transformation of zirconia, providing a heat-conducting channel for the dissipation of frictional heat.
