Zirocnia Ceramics:

The zirconia sensor is an instrument consisting of zirconia (ZrO2), and a sheath. Zirconium oxide sensors are available in both heated and non-heated versions. The heated oxygen sensor has a heating rod in the middle of the zirconium tube, and the zirconium tube is made of a ceramic body and is fixed in a fixing sleeve with mounting threads. The row is inserted into the exhaust pipe, its inner surface is in communication with the air, and the outer surface is in communication with the exhaust gas. The inner and outer surfaces of the zirconium tube are covered with a porous platinum film as an electrode. To prevent the exhaust gas from corroding the platinum film, the platinum film layer on the outer surface of the zirconium tube is covered with a porous ceramic layer and has a protective sleeve and a sleeve. There are slots or holes in the upper opening. The terminal of the zirconia sensor has a metal sheath with a hole for the inner surface of the zirconium tube to communicate with the air, and the wire leads the platinum electrode on the inner surface of the zirconium tube from the sensor through the insulating sleeve.
