Zirocnia Ceramics:

Zirconium oxide is widely used for its excellent high temperature physical and mechanical properties, especially for critical components used in harsh conditions. Since zirconia has low thermal conductivity and a large thermal expansion coefficient, zirconia products have poor thermal stability. However, the ceramic article prepared by using the zirconia raw material composed of the partially stabilized zirconia raw material has the best thermal stability. Therefore, the manufacture of zirconia structural ceramics tends to use partially stabilized zirconia raw materials rather than fully stabilized zirconia raw materials. The production of zirconia structural ceramics generally uses 3mo1% Y203 stabilized zirconia ultrafine powder.
