Fast umanaged Ethernet switch

Overview

It is the newest member launched by ODVA (Open Devicenet Vendors Asso-cation) and Control Net International two major industrial organizations. 

NT-IN1082GF Fast umanaged Ethernet switch series is 10-port industrial Ethernet unmanaged switch, providing 2 Gigabit Ethernet 1000Base-X ports and up to 8 100Base-TX ports. 

Like Device Net and Control Net, they are all networks based on CIP (Control and Information Proto-Col) protocol. 

Up to 3Mb large volume buffer makes ideal for applications that require high-bandwidth data transmission.

It is an object-oriented protocol that can guarantee the effective transmission of implicit (control) real-time I / O information and explicit information (including for configuration, parameter setting, diagnosis, etc.) on the network.

NT-IN1082GF Fast umanaged Ethernet switch series provides 12~48Vdc or 24Vac redundant power inputs, with rugged IP30 grade metal housing, DIN-Rail mounting or wall mounting, and high level EMI/EMC capability. 

Ethernet / IP uses the same application layer protocol CIP as Devicenet and ControlNet. 

NT-IN1082GF series is functional under a wide range of temperature from -40℃ to 80℃. All of these features make the switches ideal for applications that require high-bandwidth transmission for uplink, such as video surveillance, tolling system, wireless access and factory automatic.

Therefore, they use the same object library and consistent industry specifications and have good consistency. 

NT-IN1082GF Fast umanaged Ethernet switch series complies with IEEE 802.3at High Power over Ethernet technology (optional). 

Ethernet / IP uses standard Ethernet and TCP / IP technologies to transmit CIP communication packets. 

It is backward compatible with 802.3af PSE standards to allow users flexibly deploy standard and high powered devices simultaneously with no need of software configuration. 

In this way, the common and open application layer protocol CIP plus the widely used Ethernet and TCP / IP protocols form the architecture of the Ethernet / IP protocol.

With Data and Power over Ethernet from one unit, NT-IN1082GF Fast umanaged Ethernet switch series shall reduce cables deployment and eliminate the need for dedicated electrical outlets on the wall, ceiling or any unreachable place.
