Overview

Enter the ROM monitoring state rommon>, use the configuration register command confreg to set the parameter value 0x2142, skip the configuration file
After setting the password, revert to 0x2102.
The converters are able to extend transmission distance of network up to 120Km via fiber port, and the UTP port can operate at 10M or 100M application.

After the password is changed, it can be restored to the state of using the configuration file in the privileged mode.
