N-net Ethernet Managed Gigabit Switch
The NT-MG1500 is a 10/100/1000Mbps Web Smart Gigabit Ethernet Switch utilized a compact form factor that can be mounted in a 10/19-inch rack with optional rack-mounting kits or placed on desktop.Backboard bandwidth: determines the maximum connection bandwidth between each interface template and the switching engine. For efficient management, with its built-in Web-based management, the NT-MG1500 managed Ethernet switch offers an easy-to-use and configuration facility. Backboard bandwidth is the maximum amount of data that can be handled between the switch interface processor or interface card and the data bus.Backboard bandwidth marks the overall data exchange capacity of the switch. The unit is Gbps, also known as switching bandwidth. The backboard bandwidth of the general switch varies from several Gbps to hundreds Gbps.Via the WEB interface, NT-MG1500 can be programmed for basic switch management functions such as per port speed duplex settings, Port Trunking, VLAN, Port Mirroring, Rapid Spanning Tree, 802.1X network security authentication and Misc Configuration. The higher the backboard bandwidth of a switch, the more data it can process, but the higher the design cost. Additionally, the firmware includes advanced features such as IGMP snooping, QoS (Quality of Service), broadcast storm and bandwidth control, to enhance bandwidth utilization
